WATCH: McLaren Speedtail Races an F35 Fighter Jet
Two of humanity’s greatest speed machines go head-to-head.
Not unlike conversations about whether a dinosaur would kill a shark, or a rocket could kill a sword, a race between one of the world’s fastest production cars and a jet is something straight out of a playground debate. Thankfully, we live in a world where people are crazy enough to try these things (the car/jet race, not the dinosaur thing).
Pitting the McLaren Speedtail against an F35 Lightning II fighter jet, the guys from Top Gear put together a race-track of sorts, which would give each machine fair and ample opportunity to outstrip one another.
