Adidas x Game of Thrones Sneakers Dropping Soon!

Sneaker collaborations have been a hot trend for some time, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down in 2019. Adidas is making a name for itself with the amount of high-profile collaborations they’ve been churning out over the last couple of years, and it doesn’t get much more high-profile than teaming up with the biggest TV series in the medium’s history: Game of Thrones.

So – what’s better to combine it with than one of their most popular modern shoe models, the Ultra Boost? For those unfamiliar with Adidas’ shoe tech, their ‘Boost’ cushioning material has been a runaway hit since launch a few years back. The Ultra Boost model is likely the most prevalent from their Boost collection, too, so it makes for an ideal collab candidate.

The line-up has six shoes that are themed after popular groups and houses within the Game of Thrones lore: White Walkers, House Stark, House Lannister, House Targaryen, Targaryen Dragons, Night’s Watch. The coolest part about the team-up is that the designs aren’t absurdly eye-catching, but still do a good job evoking elements of the concept they’re representing. They’re good standalone colourways, but made better (and more sought after) because of their limited release numbers and association with GoT.
