Nike & Converse Team-up to Create Flyknit All Stars
Style meets comfort with the launch of the iconic Chuck Taylor fused with Nike Flyknit technology.
Since Nike bought Converse back in 2003, the sports apparel powerhouse hasn’t incorporated its performance technology too much into the Converse street line, but the new Chuck Taylor All Star x Nike Flyknit collection takes full advantage of the in-house brand collaboration.
The new collection is the first time Nike’s Flyknit technology has featured in a Converse shoe, resulting in something quite unique to the market.
The sneaker features a breathable upper to keep your feet light and cool no matter the weather, as well as a sleek TPU fused toecap, so that there’s no sacrifice on style. With the Nike Lunarlon sockliner and welded micro suede upper, the Chuck Taylor All Star x Nike Flyknit collection is also super-comfortable.
The sneaker is available in the colours Black/Storm Wind, Wolf Grey/Cool Grey, Green Glow/Rio Teal, Casino/Rhubarb, White Mono and True Indigo/Soar.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star x Nike Flyknits are priced at R1,699 and are available now at Sportscene.
