Nike LunarEpic Low Flyknit Touch Down in SA
Nike’s latest colourway of the LunarEpic arrive in the Republic.

Nike has unveiled its newest colourways of its increasingly-popular LunarEpic running line – the LunarEpic Low Flyknit Solar pack.
Inspired by the warm weather and sunny days with special colours that mix shades of green and grey, the new Solar colourway pack makes it clear that summer is arriving in the southern hemisphere. The options are bright and bold with pronounced overtones, but subtle enough to keep the focus on the streets rather than the catwalk.
As for the shoes themselves, the Nike LunarEpic Low is a lightweight neutral trainer that features some new and innovative design features. The shoe has a flyknit upper that incorporates flywire technology as well as a laser cut midsole/outsole that’s been designed using pressure mapping technologies.
This is a shoe that’s designed to deliver superb comfort, cushion and smoothness. This shoe was also released originally as a mid with an upper that extended up the ankle rather than this low version which is a pretty standard shoe.
Nike Flyknit technology was inspired by feedback from runners craving a shoe with the snug (and virtually unnoticed) fit of a sock. Nike embarked on a four-year mission with teams of programmers, engineers and designers to create the technology needed to make the knit upper with static properties for structure and durability. Then the precise placement of support, flexibility and breathability—all in one layer—was refined. The result is a featherweight, formfitting and virtually seamless upper.
The Nike LunarEpic Lows are priced at R2,299 and available on the Nike online store.
