Retro-Inspired Rugby Clothing Store Launches in SA

While South Africa is a rugby-mad country, we don’t have too many rugby clothing options that aren’t officially licensed or overpriced options available. However, a new online store is changing that, with Chalk and Jagger bringing a range of apparel for oval-ball-loving South Africans.

The store features a variety of hoodies, socks, and polo shirts that all hark back to the classic designs of rugby memorabilia, with the sock range, in particular, featuring old-school designs, iconic colour schemes, and even the ties to keep them up.

There are normal t-shirts, pullovers, and a cap available too, all featuring the brand’s nostalgia-conjuring logo.

According to Chalk and Jagger, the range is “inspired by the game of rugby and the nostalgic, worn-in, pre-loved feel of the memories it invokes. We’re bringing you shades of vintage memories and detailed emblems pieced together with golden thread detailing.”

Socks are priced at R299, while polo shirts are R899, hoodies are R1,099, sweatshirts at R899, and regular shirts are R599 each.
