Russell Athletic Unveils New Items for SA’s Sporty Summer

There’s not many brands that can say they’ve been around for over 100 years, but sportswear specialists Russell Brand can. The athletic wear brand definitely know their way around a sweatshirt, and they are breathing new life into their Spring – Summer 2016 collection by offering a contemporary twist on leisurewear basics.

Sporting a distinctly ’80s feel to their Summer collection, inspired by the era’s colour palette as well as the fabric itself, utilising 280g french terry or loop back fleece and 220g flatweave jersey, the original pieces are inspired by the brand’s Alabama history. Block colour crewneck sweats, trackpants, logo tees, leggings, and shortsand zip-up sweat jackets are the core items in the new range.
