Turkish Menswear Brand ‘Ramsey’ Opens up Shop in SA

Mall of Africa is a menswear hotbed with a lot of quality brands plying their trade there, and ‘Ramsey’, a Turkish menswear brand, has just been added to the illustrious list.

Ramsey’s brand is all about combining menswear classics, but often with an added twist, whether it’s through some tweaked design characteristics or incorporating new materials. Their range of items include casual staples like tees and denim, as well as formalwear suited to the office or other higher-end events. Because of Turkey’s climate, they also focus on making lightweight items capable of keeping you cool, in both senses of the word, which will end up being a blessing when one of our famed heat waves hits again.

From an aesthetic perspective, the benefit of a new brand from a different region is that often some of the design elements are fresh and unconventional for the new market. In a world where fast-fashion rules and seeing the same item of clothing everywhere is commonplace, a brand like Ramsey offers guys an opportunity to wear something a little more unique.
