Barbarians select two SA players
Two Springbok stars selected in opening Barbarians recruitment.
The Barbarians have selected the first two players that will join the prestigious club when they take on Fiji on 30 November 2013.
Springbok captain Jean de Villiers and flanker Schalk Burger are among the initial squad, which will be coached by New Zealand’s Steve Hansen.
“We’ll name the rest of #baabaas squad as we can. For now, welcome aboard Steve Hansen, Schalk Burger & Jean De Villiers #rugby #rugbyunited,” said the Barbarians through the official Twitter account.
Both De Villiers and Burger have previously played for the Barbarians.

Very cool for Jean De Villiers! Will be keen to see who else is in the backline, could be an exciting team. I think burger was to have a big name player in the squad.
