Carter: “nothing wrong” with Bismark tackle
All Blacks flyhalf defends Bismarck’s tackle on him.
Following the controversy around the tackle of Bismarck du Plessis on Dan Carter in the 17th minute of the match between New Zealand and South Africa, Carter himself has come out saying that the hit was completely legal.
Following the incident, referee Romain Poite handed Du Plessis a yellow card, which impacted the second yellow card Du Plessis received in the match, accumulating into a red.
“Nothing wrong with the tackle. Fell awkwardly and popped my AC joint #gutted #smashedembro,” tweeted Carter.
Cater will be out for six weeks following a grade 3 AC joint injury in his shoulder.

Hats off to Carter. Just more proof that he is a great sportsman.

True… let’s be honest, he knows he was owned by Bismark. Yes, he fell awkwardly… because he was hit by an afrikaans freight train at full pace!
It was nice of him to admit it, i can’t remember any Australian coming out after that World Cup game and saying anything about the ref.
