The Chiefs managed to overcome the Highlanders for a second time this season with a 19-7 win in Hamilton on Friday, 22 March 2013.

The first try came through Tim Nanai-Williams, who picked up a loose ball from the Highlanders and showed incredible pace to race away under the sticks.

Anscombe added some extra points through his accurate boot, however, the Highlanders did hit back with an Aaron Smith try following a 5-meter scrum.

The second half saw an incredibly tight affair that only featured two more penalties from Anscombe.

Both the forwards and backs of the Chiefs played exceptionally well despite the tough fight from the Highlanders.
