Farrell starting for Lions

The British and Irish Lions have named the team that will battle against the Baabaas in Kong Kong.

The British and Irish Lions have named the side that will play against the Barbarians in Hong Kong on Saturday, 1 June 2013.

Owen Farrell has got the starting nod at flyhalf, with Irish playmaker Jonathan Sexton named on the bench.

Lions captain Sam Warburton has been ruled out of the match with a knee injury, leaving Paul O’Connell to take over the captaincy.

The Lions team to take on the Barbarians:

15 Stuart Hogg, 14 Sean Maitland, 13 Jonathan Davies, 12 Jamie Roberts, 11 Alex Cuthbert, 10 Owen Farrell, 9 Mike Phillips, 8 Toby Faletau, 7 Justin Tipuric, 6 Dan Lydiate, 5 Richie Gray, 4 Paul O’Connell (c), 3 Adam Jones, 2 Richard Hibbard, 1 Manu Vunipola.
