The Stormers have announced that Springbok flyer Bryan Habana will be eligible for the Stormers’ tour to New Zealand and Australia in late April.

”Bryan (Habana) has been working really hard and he could be fit for our first tour match (against the Hurricanes in Palmerston North on April 26),” said Stormers coach Allister Coetzee. “I don’t want to get too carried away about his exact return date but he will definitely make the tour.”

Coetzee also confirmed that big lock Eben Etzebeth along with hooker Scarra Ntubeni will be available for the tour following ankle and shoulder injuries respectively.

Those who are added to the injury list include Gerhaard van den Heever and Rynhardt Elstadt, who will miss the match against the Cheetahs, while Don Armand is doubtful to make the clash.

“We’ve seen how well the Crusaders did their homework and we know that we can expect the same from the Cheetahs,” said Coetzee.

“This week we’ll have to show improvement in all facets of the game if we want to do well against the Cheetahs. It’s never easy in Bloemfontein, it’s going to be a tough (South African) derby… but we need to focus on our game.”
