The Reds have had a shaky start to the season winning three and losing two of their opening five fixtures, and will be looking to try and beat a wounded Bulls side following their loss to the Crusaders.

James Horwill will make his return to the Reds this weekend and will captain the side for the encounter.

The talented Wallabies captain is among five changes made to the starting line-up, along with hooker James Hanson, flanker Jarrad Butler, winger Digby Ioane and centre Anthony Faingaa.

The Bulls have made nine changes ahead to the team that lost to the Crusaders last week.

Kirchner, Mapoe, Engelbrecht will also start in the backline, with Louis Fouchè being named at flyhalf, while Mornè Steyn takes a seat on the bench.

Francois Venter will partner with Engelbrecht as he replaces the injured Wynand Olivier at inside centre.

Dewalt Potgieter moves into the starting line-up in space of Arno Botha, while Chiliboy Ralepelle and Werner Kruger return to the front row.

Kick-off is at 10:40 (SA time) from Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
