SA Start-Up Launches Summer Swimwear Line For Men
A new South African company has given the summer shorts scene a massive slap of colour…
Summer is in full swing, and as South Africans contemplate how to survive the warm weather, a new South African company is making the option of dipping into the pool or ocean that much easier.
Men’s swimwear brand Granadilla was recently launched by young entrepreneurs Joshua Meltz and Adam Duxbury and the Cape Town-based company has already picked up a truck-load of momentum.
“The trunks are targeted at the modern gentleman, who is sophisticated but has time for a bit of colour in his life,” explains Meltz.
“We are all about producing a proudly South African product that we want to eventually be a net exporter of goods to the international market,” he added.
Not only is Granadilla adding some serious style to the SA lads, but the company is also committed to helping with entrepreneurship of the less fortunate and have committed 5% of profits annually to go back into charitable causes helping to promote entrepreneurship in South Africa.
The trunks themselves feature locally-made, top-quality, quick-dry, Peach Skin fabric, with stainless steel aglets with a matte finish.
Products in the Granadilla range are priced at R500 each and the company also features overnight delivery to any main city in SA.
