Miss anything this weekend? MenStuff gives you the lowdown on the five best moments from around the sporting world.
While the weekend has come to an end, it’s fair to say that it was jam-packed with some epic sporting moments, and we’ve rounded up the best of the best that will be the talking-points around the office water-cooler this week:
Hurricane’s reward after playing beyond the clock – Instead of just kicking the ball out at half time during the Hurricanes’ Super Rugby match with the Blues, the Wellington side went on full attack and eventually scored a great try through Matt Proctor.
Messi making a mockery of the Eibar defence – Lionel Messi was at it again, causing all kinds of trouble during Barcelona’s La Liga match with Eibar.
Pakistan make short work of Ireland – Pakistan continued their strong run in the Cricket World Cup by knocking Ireland out of the tournament after winning by 7 wickets.
Wales topple untouchable Ireland – Ireland was on their way to a grand slam win in this year’s Six Nations, but the Welsh spoiled the party in spectacular fashion.
Wayne Rooney’s goal and celebration against Tottenham – the Manchester United striker scored a great solo goal against Spurs and celebrated by mocking the controversial boxing video which recently surfaced, showing him being knocked out by Phil Bardsley in his kitchen.
