The weekend is rolling around quickly, and for those looking to hit the cinema, there are some quality movies releasing this week, including a a hilarious comedy sequel, an anthropomorphic animated romp, and a taste of local flavour mix things up a little. 

Horrible Bosses 2
28 November  

A sequel to one of the funniest comedy in recent years drops this month, as the original cast, plus a few new friends, return for Horrible Bosses 2.  Nick (Jason Bateman), Dale (Charlie Day) and Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) decide to become their own bosses by launching their own business.

However, a slick investor soon takes control of their company. Desperate, the three friends hatch a plan to kidnap the investor’s adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.

Penguins of Madagascar

Let’s be honest, the best thing about the Madagascar franchise is those adorable yet pesky penguins, and they now have their own movie hitting cinemas this week. Awww yeah. 

The film revolves around a villainous octopus named Dave (John Malkovich) who hatches a plan to eliminate the penguins. Skipper (Tom McGrath), Kowalski (Chris Miller), Rico (John DiMaggio) and Private (Christopher Knights) must team with a clandestine animal organization known as North Wind to thwart the diabolical plan.

Spud 3: Learning to Fly
28 November 

As Spud Milton continues his awkward stagger through adolescence, he learns one of life’s most important lessons: When dealing with women and cretins, nothing is ever quite as it seems. 

The third South African-based movie sees the return of some old faces and new ones, including John Cleese, Troye Sivan, Caspar Lee, Aaron Mcilroy, and Julie Summers.
