Game releases this week March 9

We’re now heading into the belly of March and the game release schedule is warming up for 2015.

This week we have a remastered demon hunter, a sharpshooting Nazi-killer, and an assassin hunter (if there is such a thing) touching down for our gaming pleasure.

DMC: Definitive Edition

10 March (Xbox One, PS4)

DMC: Devil May Cry was a highly-praised but largely unappreciated title when it hit the shelves in 2013. The series reboot of the popular Devil May Cry delivered rich, action-oriented gameplay, sensational visuals, and a compelling plot, and all of it gets a spit, polish, and re-release on PS4 and Xbox One on 10 March.

If you missed it before, then this is one to jump on.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue

10 March (PC)

While many thought Assassin’s Creed Rogue was a “filler” of sorts for last-gen consoles when it released on Xbox 360 and PS3 last year, it proved to be the more interesting and entertaining title after Assassin’s Creed Unity failed to set the PS4, Xbox One, and PC alight.

Arriving for PC on 10 March, the game changes things up and throws you into the role of a rogue assassin who has joined the Templars and must hunt down the assassins. Pretty cool, right?

Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition

10 March (Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360)

Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 this week, and the tactical shooter’s spruced-up version comes bundled with all of the game’s DLC, including all three parts of the Save Churchill campaign. Six multiplayer maps — Fracture, Night Watch, Outpost Canyon, Plantation, Lost Valley, and Airstrip — and six weapon packs will also be included.
