3 Sports Matches You Need To Watch This Weekend
MenStuff gives you the low-down on all the big sporting clashes this weekend that you can’t afford to miss.

February is in full swing, and that means that the sporting season is heating up with some epic encounters taking place over the next few days, and we got you covered with which clashes you’ve got to keep your eyes on.
Wales vs England (Six Nations rugby)
Friday, 6 February, 22:05
Friday evening will see the Six Nations opener and 126th international rugby match between Wales and England, one which will be a cracker as both sides have strong sides lining up for the competition.
The current tally between the two stands at 56 wins to the dragons and 57 to the men of the red rose.
Soaked in 134 years of ferocious rivalry with rising expectations and an already palpable atmosphere, and we can’t wait to see this titanic match-up between Stuart Lancaster and Warren Gatland’s men.
Tottenham vs Arsenal (Premier League football)
Saturday, 7 February, 14:45
As it has in many of the recent seasons, this historic fixture takes on extra significance as the two fierce rivals Tottenham and Arsenal compete for Champions League qualification.
Arsenal’s 1-0 victory at White Hart Lane last term helped them continue their record of finishing above Spurs in every season of the Premier League era, and they look well placed to do so again this year.
That said, Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are proving to be reliable match-winners for Tottenham, and with home-ground advantage they should be a tough nut to crack.
Ivory Coast vs Ghana (Afcon Final)
Sunday, 8 February, 21:00
There is no doubt that Ghana deserve their place in the final after defeating Equatorial Guinea 3-0. They will meet Ivory Coast in what could be a classic contest, assuming it goes ahead without a hitch.
Ivory Coast have also had a strong display of football throughout the tournament and will definitely be worthy contenders in the final.
The tournament has seen some unnecessary fiascoes play out during the last few rounds of the tournament, and hopefully the final lives up to the hype and restores some respect to the tournament.

With the form Arsenal are in they have to take this one. In saying that Spurs have nothing to lose, they have had a great season so far and getting a champions league spot would be a bonus. I don’t think it would be good for them in the long run because I don’t think the squad as it is not has been galvanized into a team that can compete against the best in Europe.
I’m very excited for the Ivory Coast vs Ghana game. To me, they are the two best teams in Africa and should make a great final. It’s sad that Drogba won’t be there if the Ivory Coast win it. As a Chelsea fan, I’m chuffed that Yaya Toure is still out of the Premier League and will most likely have to be rested on his return.
