February is in full swing, and that means that the sporting season is heating up with some epic encounters taking place over the next few days, and we got you covered with which clashes you’ve got to keep your eyes on.

Bulls vs Stormers (Super Rugby)

Saturday, 14 February, 19:10

The second South African Super Rugby derby clash is arguably the biggest match in South African rugby this weekend, as the Bulls host the Stormers at Loftus for a predictably physical battle.

The Bulls have recruited some experienced players in the off season and have signed some of the Cheetahs best players including Adriaan Strauss.

The Stormers on the other hand have named six debutantes in their team and both wings will be making their debuts so they can be expected to be a little nervous given the Loftus factor.

Ireland vs France (Six Nations)

Saturday, 14 February, 19:00

Ireland, the defending Six Nations champions, will be packed full of confidence when they play host to Les Bleus, and French coach Philippe Saint-Andre will be eager to grab his first win over the men in green since taking over the national side. It won’t be easy though, as Ireland are on the up while France has been struggling with consistency over the last 12 months.

Throw in the fact that Ireland and France will also be locking horns in the World Cup later this year and Saturday’s clash takes on even more epic proportions.

South Africa vs Zimbabwe (ICC Cricket World Cup)

Sunday, 15 February, 03:00

The only two contestants from Africa, South Africa and Zimbabwe, will go head-to-head this weekend as the ICC Cricket World Cup kicks off in Australia.

So far 38 matches have been played by South Africa against Zimbabwe. With 2 tie matches South Africa has won 34 matches out of 38 matches against 2 defeats against Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe’s last win at ODI against South Africa at 1999 world cup.

It should be a comfortable battle for the Proteas to win, but when it comes to World Cups, anything can happen.

Super Rugby is finally back! Now there is going too much sport on the weekend. Ok, there is no such thing as too much sport but it makes the weekend slightly more stressful. There are too many decisions to make!!!!!

No man should have to choose between Chelsea and the Lions. I can only hope that the rest of the Chelsea games are either all on Sunday or Midweek. Or that all the Lions games are in the late afternoon and the Chelsea games are in the morning.
