Damn you Oxlade-Chamberlain! Jokes aside neither Chelsea nor Arsenal were at their best yesterday. Chelsea were a bit off the pace and it looked like Mourinho was testing combinations ahead of the the new season. Chelsea need to sort our a new defender or two.

Arsenal showed moments of brilliance. When Giroud came on he looked a bit like surplus. He didn’t receive any quality from the midfield. Petr Cech will be the difference for them this season.

Also, great stuff from Benteke! I’m very happy for him, he was a shining light at Villa but i think his confidence took a huge knock after his injury. He’s shown that he can score a lot of goals when under pressure. I think he will make a huge difference at Liverpool. I think Liverpool payed bit much for the Belgian international. I’m pretty sure Liverpool will cut their losses with Mario.

It was a cracker of a strike. I’m sure he’s going to have a good spell at Liverpool this season.
