Ireland win Six Nations championship – the Irish were able to secure back-to-back Six Nations titles after coming out on top of the table with a points difference following a win over Scotland.

Mata’s brace to down Liverpool – Juan Mata scored two goals for Manchester United in their 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Lions stun Rebels for second win on tour – the Lions continue their run of shock wins this season by beating the Rebels in Melbourne with a late try from Lionel Mapoe.

Guptill’s record-breaking charge –  New Zealand’s Martin Guptill made the highest score in World Cup history with 237 not out against West Indies to send his team into the semi-finals.

England and France put on a 90-point spectacle – the Red Rose and Les Bleus rounded up their respective Six Nations campaigns with an entertaining finale at Twickenham on Saturday, with England winning 55-35.
