Huge comebacks, unexpected goals, and some brilliant rugby made for an incredibly entertaining weekend of sport. But with so many great moments, we decided to rank out top 5; so without further ado, here are our picks of the best sporting moments from the past weekend:

Bale’s performance against Deportivo – Gareth Bale scored a hat-trick as Zinedine Zidane made a winning start as Real Madrid boss with a comprehensive victory over Deportivo La Coruna.

Manu’s massive try-saver – England centre Manu Tuilagi made his long-awaited return to the Premiership, coming on for the Leicester Tigers in the second-half against Northampton Saints and making a big try-saving hit on Courtney Lawes.

Messi’s classy finishing against Granada – Lionel Messi once again showed why he is the world’s best player, finishing Barcelona’s second goal against Granada.

Jackson’s match-winning kick for Ulster – Flyhalf Paddy Jackson delivered on a marvellous kick to steal a 24-23 win for Ulster against Oyonnax.

Tawalo’s ridiculous pace to score – From 90 metres out, Oyonnax winger Uwa Tawalo turned on the afterburners to score a brilliant length-of-the-field try.
