5 Massive Sports Moments You May Have Missed
Miss anything this weekend? MenStuff gives you the lowdown on the five best moments from around the sporting world.
While the weekend has come to an end, it’s fair to say that it was jam-packed with some epic sporting moments, and we’ve rounded up the best of the best that will be the talking-points around the office water-cooler this week:
Rebels kicking off Super Rugby with a massive upset – the Melbourne Rebels, still getting over their Super Rugby growing pains, have started the 2015 tournament with a bang, defeating the seven-time champions 20-10 in Christchurch.
Miller and Duminy’s heroics for the Proteas – David Miller’s partnership alongside JP Duminty resurrected the Proteas innings and took them to 339 and help them defeat Zimbabwe in South Africa’s opening game of the ICC Cricket World Cup.
Jonahan Joseph’s brilliant performance for England – the relatively-new England outside centre is making the No. 13 jersey his own and with two tries and a great showcase of his ability against Italy, it’s no doubt we’ll be seeing a lot more of the Bath man.
Giroud’s brace of goals for Arsenal – two first-half goals by Olivier Giroud was enough to give Arsenal a comfortable 2-0 victory at home to Championship high-fliers Middlesbrough.
Hayter’s exceptional try in Las Vegas – Charlie Hayter of England scored an incredible try to book his team’s place in the Plate final in Las Vegas.
