Im sure the Boks are feeling confident about this game because of the big win last week. Let’s face it the World IX game was just a confidence booster. Australia are going to be a tough start for the competition. Hopefully Ruan plays out his boots because he is pretty much the only question mark in the squad. Well so are Matfield and Burger… And maybe Habana. Man our squad has some Ballies in it.

Watching the New Zealand vs Argentina game. The All Blacks are playing some quality rugby. We really need to win tomorrow so that we are contenders for the Championship.
Argentina have come so far rugby wise. I’m a bit disappointed by them giving away silly penalties in their own half.

Half time and New Zealand are playing better and better. Perenara is looking sharp. Carter’s kicking is getting better. McCaw is putting in a top class performance. Unless Argentina can stop giving away penalties and start putting points on the board this is going to be an absolute hiding.

It looks like Argentina had a bit of a turn around in the second half

At least some of the younger players are getting a run before the World Cup.

Surely there are young players who could be in the squad instead of Matfield and Burger?

And maybe JP?

Well we consistently haven’t been giving youngsters a chance in those positions. So I don’t think there would be anyone ready to step up into those positions ahead of the World Cup.

Not to be too harsh on the guys. Maybe this team is a good mix of experienced and youthful players but I agree. Those guys are going to have to move on soon.
