Apple’s New Mac Pro Could Cost You R740,000
Apple’s latest Mac comes with a notable price-tag.
Apple’s new Mac Pro and accompanying Pro Display XDR, as impressive as they are, come with a hefty price-tag, to say the lease.
The new hardware, which is set to launch this month, includes a base desktop featuring 256GB SSD and 32GB of RAM memory… and a price-tag of $5,999 (around R88,700). The Pro Display XDR (which features a 32-inch, Retina 6K LCD screen) costs an equally stunning $4,999 (around R74,000).
While those numbers are staggering alone, there are some upgrades you can tack-on when ordering your Mac Pro online.
If you choose to add on all the high-end options and pre-installed software, it’ll push the price up to $52,000 (just under R740,000). That top-of-the-line model includes a powerful 28-core processor, 1.5TB of memory, two Radeon Pro Vega II Duo GPUs, and up to 8TB of SSD storage.
Apple is now taking orders for its new Mac Pro, with the hardware set to arrive in early 2020.
