Kawasaki Reveals Ridable Robotic Gorilla
What a time to be alive…

In a story I never thought I’d write in my lifetime, motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has revealed a new ridable robot known as Corleo.
Essentially looking like a mechanical gorilla/horse/wolf hybrid, Corleo is a four-legged machine that can be operated by a single rider, allowing them to traverse tricky terrain and travel at fairly high speeds.
Of course, this was demonstrated by a concept video, but the Corleo is real, and one of the models made an appearance at the recent Osaka-Kansai Expo in Japan.
The machine itself is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and is said to respond to the rider’s body movements and weight distribution. It also features integrated AI systems for enhanced balance and navigation.
Kawasaki didn’t give any details as to when or how something like the Corleo will find its way onto the market, but the company is aiming to innovate in the personal transport field further, so it’s an interesting idea that we could see more of in the near future.
