Nokia Introduces Another Sub-R2,000 Android Option to South Africa

Nokia has announced the Nokia C22, an affordable smartphone focused on durability, that is now available in South Africa.

Specs-wise, the C22 features a 6.5-inch display, 2GBs of RAM, 64GBs of storage, a 13MP dual rear camera set-up, an 8MP front camera, and can support up to 256GBs of additional memory.

The dual-SIM phone also includes face-unlock features, as well as a rear fingerprint sensor.

As for the durability factors, the C22 has an IP52 splash and dust protection, toughened 2.5D display glass, and a rigid metal chassis housed within a robust polycarbonate unibody design.

Pricing and availability

The Nokia C22 is available in South Africa now through most retailers stocking Nokia and on Takealot. It is available in Charcoal Black, with prices starting from R1,799.
