Price Drop: PS5 Consoles Get Limited Discount in South Africa
Playstation SA knocks down the price of the PS5 for its month-end sale.
Playstation South Africa has announced that PS5 consoles are getting a price-drop for a limited time.
From 19 July through to 1 August 2023, players will be able to purchase PlayStation 5 consoles* for R1,500 off at participating retailers. These include BT Games, Checkers Hyper, Computer Mania, eBucks, FNB, Game, Game4U, HiFi Corp, Hirsch’s, House & Home, Incredible, Expert, KOODOO, Loot, Makro, New World, OK Furniture, Takealot.com, ToyZone, Toys R Us and ZAPA stores.
It’s fair to say that 2023 has been a fantastic year for PS5 so far, with many games to keep players immersed, including recently released blockbuster titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4, Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy XVI, along with Virtual Reality experiences like Horizon Call of the Mountain and Resident Evil Village on PlayStation VR2, PlayStation’s newest virtual reality headset.
These releases, along with the PS Plus game subscription service, make owning a PS5 a pretty alluring prospect; and with a wealth of big games still on the horizon for 2023, there’s a lot to look forward to.
