Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 & Fold 4: SA Pricing, Details Revealed
Here’s what you need to know about Samsung’s new foldable phones hitting SA.
Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4, are set for a South African launch, and the brand has confirmed the pricing and availability details for both devices.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 is priced at R21,999 (RRP) and the Galaxy Z Fold4 for R37,999 (RRP), with both devices set to be available from 1 September 2022.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4
The Galaxy Z Flip4 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, with a smaller 1.9-inch super AMOLED screen when folded; 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage; Capacitive Fingerprint sensor on the side; a 3,700 mAh battery; and a 4nm Octa-Core Processor.
Camera-wise, the Flip4 features a 10MP selfie camera, with a 12MP ultra-wide camera and 12MP wide-angle camera on the rear.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
The Galaxy Z Fold4 features a 7.6-inch QXGA+ display, with a 6.2-inch super AMOLED screen on the front; a 4,400 mAh battery; and a 4nm Octa-Core Processor.
It comes in three RAM and storage variants: 12GB RAM with 1TB internal storage, 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage, or 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage.
Camera-wise, the Fold4 features a triple camera set-up, including a 12MP Ultra-wide camera, 50MP wide-angle camera, and 10MP telephoto camera. There is also a 10MP selfie camera and 4MP under-display camera.
There is also a Capacitive Fingerprint sensor on the side of the device.
Colours
Galaxy Z Flip4 comes in two legacy colours: Bora Purple and Graphite, and new colours: Pink Gold and Blue. The Galaxy Z Fold4 and Standing Cover with Pen case are offered in Grey Green, Beige, and Phantom Black.
