Multi-screen setups are becoming more and more popular lately, mostly due to the fact that they can help significantly with productivity. Someone like a programmer or a graphic designer can benefit substantially from multi-monitor PC setups, but what if you can have one screen that does it all?

Minimising and maximising windows over and over definitely won’t ever be an issue for the owner of LG’s Ultrawide 49-inch monitor, though. You might think to yourself “Ah, 49-inch screen size is impressive, but it’s not that huge” – and you’d be right, kind of. The Ultrawide doesn’t have a conventional screen ratio, though, its ratio is an insane 32:9.

The 32:9 aspect ratio is complemented with a massive curved design, with a ridiculous resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 that results in a PPI (pixels per inch) of 108. It’s basically the equivalent of strapping two 27-inch quad HD monitors together. Anyone that needs an above average amount of screen real estate, or just wants to do their emails in serious style, will want to keep an eye out for the launch of the Ultrawide.

Pricing and release date information hasn’t been released for South Africa yet, but watch this space and we’ll let you know when you can expect to get your hands on it!
