Trek Launches ‘Powerfly’ Electric Mountain Bike in SA

Trek has always been on the cutting-edge of bicycle technology, and the company is jumping aboard the electric-powered bandwagon with the new Powerfly range of electric-assisted e-bikes, giving those who need a little more oomph, some assistance for the rugged terrain out there.

The Powerfly uses a Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system to derive its power; which is a Bosch 500Wh PowerTube battery that fits easily into the downtube of the frame.
