Xbox  South Africa has confirmed the local release date and pricing for the wired edition of the Xbox Stereo Headset

With the new Xbox Stereo Headset, the company is aiming to deliver a high level of performance, stand-out features, quality, and accessibility across console, PC, and mobile devices, and the wired option gives that at a more affordable price-point.

The flexible, lightweight design with an adjustable headband utilises plush cushioning to spread pressure more evenly around the top of the head. Ultra-soft large earcups will keep you comfy during those extended play sessions, and easily accessible on-ear controls for volume and mute will make this a staple in your gaming arsenal. You can connect directly to the Xbox Wireless Controller or other devices through the 3.5mm audio jack, with no batteries required.

To generate the best possible experience across gaming, team chat, music, and movies, Xbox tuned the headset to replicate the intended audio recording source that the developers want you to experience. The result of this is hearing the audio as close as possible to how it was recorded, by ensuring clean mid and high-frequency performance with strong bass.

And to take your audio one step further, the Xbox Stereo Headset supports high-fidelity spatial sound technologies including Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone.

The Xbox Stereo Headset, which is compatible with the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PCs with its 3.5mm jack, will be available from 21 September 2021 at select retailers locally at a price of R1,199. Pre-orders are open too.
