Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 12 in South Africa, joining the growing line-up of other Xiaomi devices on the market.
The Xiaomi 12 houses some pretty impressive specs under the hood, but the device is primarily priding itself on the videography studio and cinema-quality shots.
Specs
The Xiaomi 12 includes a 6.28-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GBs of RAM, 256GBs of memory, and a 4,500mAh battery, which also utilises Xiaomi’s AdaptiveCharge technology, a smart charging algorithm that learns and adapts to charging habits, which prolongs battery life.
Regarding the cameras, the Xiaomi 12 features a 50MP main wide-angle camera, with 8K recording capabilities. This is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP tele-macro camera. On the front, you get a 32MP in-display selfie camera.
Xiaomi’s video editing suite, the One-click AI Cinema, offers numerous creative options for show-stopping video editing, such as Parallel World, Freeze Frame Video, and Magic Zoom modes.
The device runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 OS, which provides a more streamlined and snappy Android experience.
