2023 has been an absolutely stellar year for gaming, but before we sign off, there are some exciting releases on the horizon, including a long-awaited Avatar game from Ubisoft, along with two other interesting releases to dive into.

Avatar: Frontier of Pandora

Release date: 7 December 2023 (Xbox Series X/S | PS5 | PC)

While the Avatar franchise has dominated the box-office, it’s never really hit similar heights in the gaming world. However, a new first-person adventure game, Frontiers of Pandora, is hoping to change that, throwing you into the blue feet of a Na’vi warrior as you parkour your way around the world, take on the RDA, and protect Pandora from all types of threats.

Batman: Arkham Collection

Release date: 1 December 2023 (Switch)

Batman Arkham Knight

Nintendo gamers have been starved of some Batman action, but three of the most acclaimed superhero games featuring the Caped Crusader are coming to Switch. Batman: Arkham Collection features Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight, all wrapped up in one package, with all the DLC and extra costumes thrown in. All three are fantastic third-person stealth-action games that should definitely be checked out, and if you have never played them and own a Switch, this is a no-brainer.

SteamWorld Build

Release date: 1 December 2023 (Xbox Series X/S | PS5 | Switch | PC)

SteamWorld Build is a simple but fun city builder cleverly combined with a dungeon-constructing miner that keeps things quick and casual. Players need to construct roads, infrastructure, amenities, and houses for their population and maintain their happiness ratings, while also managing the construction below the surface as they expand their mining operation.
