The steam train of 2025 game releases barrels ahead as March brings through some new games to indulge in. We’ve picked 5 of the most exciting titles dropping this March and highlighted why you should check them out.

Two Point Museum

Release date: 4 March 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

After the success of Two Point Hospital (2018) and Two Point Campus (2022), Two Point Studios’ next business simulator is set in a whacky and wonderful museum. Players assume the role of a museum manager who must design a museum, build up its collection of exhibits, and ensure its smooth operations. Two Point Museum has learned from some of the feedback from fans and offers a lot more customisation, progression incentives, and smooth gameplay to keep you coming back for more.

Split Fiction

Release date: 4 March 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

If you love co-op games, Split Fiction is right up your alley. From the studio that literally focuses on cooperative experiences, such as It Takes Two and A Way Out, the new game from Hazelight Studios tells the story of two writers who get pulled into one another’s stories, and have to work together to get through some zany and bizarre scenarios. Some levels will see you turned into sausages while others will force you to fight aliens together — either way, it’s all about trying to work in tandem and get through the experience without strangling your co-op buddy.

WWE 2K25

Release date: 14 March 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | Xbox One | PC)

Get that baby oil and spandex out, WWE 2K25 is here! If you’ve played the series recently, you’ll know what to expect. However, WWK 2K25 improves things with some new moves, gameplay tweaks and (in a franchise first) introduces The Island. Acting as a hub, this is an immersive, WWE-themed world filled with epic arenas, challenges, and live events. It’s similar to what 2K Sports did with The City with their NBA 2K franchise, and should bode well for the wrestling genre.

Assassin’s Creed: Shadows

Release date: 20 March 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

After numerous delays, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows is arriving this March. With Shadows, the stab-’em-up franchise makes its long-awaited jump to feudel Japan and stars two new playable assassins — Naoe, a ninja assassin, and Yasuke, an African samurai. Players will be able to play as either Naoe and Yasuke as they see fit, but the two protagonists play very differently – Naoe is a shinobi who uses stealth, parkour, and gadgets, whereas Yasuke is combat-oriented and armoured — the pair’s personalities ultimately complement each other to form a unique dynamic throughout Shadows. Of course, smoke bombs, a wide variety of weapons, parrying, and the beloved hidden blade will all be present during combat.

Atomfall

Release date: 27 March 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | Xbox One | PC)

Developed by the team behind the Sniper Elite series (which I love), Atomfall is a first-person survival game set in an open-world, taking inspiration from the likes of Fallout and Stalker. You’ll have to gather resources, shoot and kill mutated monsters, and try to get to the bottom of what happened in this irradiated hellscape. Sounds like good times to me.
