7 Digital Game Deals You Won’t Want to Miss this Week
Sales on some of the biggest titles on the market!

It’s that time of year again where the big digital platforms announce their Easter specials, and, like chocolate-covered marshmellow eggs, we want them… badly!
The Xbox Live Marketplace, the Playstation Store, and a variety of digital PC game stores have some great deals on offer, and we’ve rounded up 5 of the best to get your hands on.
Titanfall 2 (Xbox One) – R479.40
Xbox has launched its Spring Sale (which runs from 11-17 April), and amongst the sale is Titanfall 2. Respawn’s sequel to the 2014 FPS-mech game hybrid took everything that made the first multiplayer-only release great, and bolstered it with a whole lot more, including an expanded multiplayer component and a compelling single-player campaign which focuses on the bond between Titan and pilot.
Titanfall 2 is on special on the Xbox Marketplace for R479.90.

Battlefield 1 (Xbox Live Marketplace & Playstation Store) – R559.30 / R549
At this point, Battlefield 1 needs no introduction, but let’s be honest, DICE and EA’s World War 1 shooter is no cheap pickup, so when a deal arrives, jump on it. The breathtaking shooter is on special from the Xbox Live Marketplace and the Playstation Store (go figure), so console gamers who are yet to pick up the uber-popular shooter now have a chance to do so.
- Battlefield 1 is on special on the Xbox Marketplace for R559.30.
- Battlefield 1 is on special on the Playstation Store for R549.

DmC: Devil May Cry – R86.99
DMC: Devil May Cry was a highly-praised but largely unappreciated title when it hit the shelves in 2013. The series reboot of the popular Devil May Cry delivered rich, action-oriented gameplay, sensational visuals, and a compelling plot, and all of it got a spit, polish, and re-release on PS4 and Xbox One. It’s on special for PC from Greenman Gaming this Easter.

Batman: Arkham Knight (PS Store)
Much like Christopher Nolan having to achieve expectations and bring a climactic close to his Dark Knight film trilogy, developer Rocksteady had a massive task at hand to send the Arkham trilogy off with a bang. The result is Arkham Knight, which features everything we love about the franchise, peppered with some new elements to mix up the bad-guy beatdown sessions a bit more; and Rocksteady’s final game for the franchise did the caped crusader proud.

Just Cause 3 (Greenman Gaming PC)
Just Cause 3 is one of the most explosive and downright enjoyable games to come out… well, ever. We played through Just Cause 3 and loved every moment of it, and can wholeheartedly say that its adrenaline-inducing stunts, fiery action, gorgeous visuals, and tongue-in-cheek humour have got us nodding in approval. The open-world action sequel sees returning protagonist Rico Rodriguez battling an evil dictatorship in his home country – so if you’re in the mood for some explosions, guns, and a lot of stunts, Just Cause 3 should be top of your list.
Just Cause 3 is on special on Greenman Gaming for R176.84.

Sunset Overdrive (Xbox Live marketplace)
Coming from the minds behind Ratchet & Clank and Resistance, we knew Sunset Overdrive was going to bring the noise. The explosive and stylised world of Sunset City may be overrun with mutant zombies, but its fun gameplay mechanics and forward-thinking story push it beyond the usual run-‘n-gun scenario. The complex upgrade system and punchy punk soundtrack only upped the ante. The only thing comparable it to is a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game… with guns and monsters.
Sunset Overdrive is on special from the Xbox Live Marketplace for R229.60.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration
The PS4 release of Lara Croft’s most recent adventure is something special, as it includes some enhanced features and new additions that give the game an extra kick. The base game itself is spectacular, expanding on the stellar 2013 reboot, which takes some pages out of Uncharted‘s book, and to good effect. The influence of crafting and survival has taken the experience to new heights, and the ever-evolving story of a young and ambitious Lara Croft is impossible to not be caught up in. The 20 Year Celebration also features two previously-unreleased segments, Blood Ties, which takes place in Croft Manor, and Lara’s Nightmare, a zombie mode of sorts, which throws you into an onslaught of creatures as you try and survive.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration (PS4) – R399.
