The steam train of 2025 game releases barrels ahead as February brings through some new games to indulge in. We’ve picked 7 of the most exciting titles dropping this February and highlighted why you should check them out.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Release date: 4 February 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the long-awaited sequel to 2018’s surprise hit. It’s an open-world, Medieval adventure where you swordfight, horse ride, survive and generally live in 15th Century Bohemia. It’s massive, quite overwhelming, but admittedly brilliant. You can check out our review here.

Civilization VII

Release date: 11 February 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | Xbox One | PC)

The award-winning strategy game franchise returns with a revolutionary new chapter. Sid Meier’s Civilization VII empowers you to construct cities and architectural wonders to expand your territory, improve your civilisation with technological breakthroughs, and conquer or cooperate with rival civilisations as you explore the far reaches of the unknown world. You can play in solo or in online multiplayer.

Tomb Raider 4–6 Remastered

Release date: 14 February 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | Xbox One | PC)

After the first three Tomb Raider games got remastered, the next three are now getting the spiffy and modernised treatment. This collection includes Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. If you don’t know much about them (how that is possible is a mystery unto itself), you basically raid tombs, shoot creatures, and jump around levels to solve puzzles. They’re great.

Avowed

Release date: 18 February 2025 (Xbox Series X/S | PC)

Made by The Outer Worlds‘ developer Obsidian, Avowed is a first-person fantasy RPG set in the world of Eora, where you can wield magic, forge epic weapons, and fight some fantastical creatures. Fans of Skyrim should be on the lookout for this one.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii

Release date: 21 February 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PS4 | Xbox One | PC)

It’s a crossover we weren’t expecting, but here we are. Yakuza developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has crafted an over-the-top, modern-day pirate adventure that follows Goro Majima as he reinvents himself as a pirate captain. Yup, it’s as bonkers as it sounds. It’s got that Yakuza-esque beat-’em-up combat, exploration, mini-games, whacky humour, and everything you could expect from the studio.

Monster Hunter Wilds

Release date: 28 February 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

Capcom has been working on its most action-packed and accessible Monster Hunter entry with Monster Hunter Wilds; and it’s arriving this February. Players need to master their weapons, skills, and surroundings to take down some truly terrifying creatures, all while harvesting their parts to build better and more durable armour, weapons, and accessories. It looks gorgeous too, and we can’t wait to get our hands on this one.

PGA Tour 2K25

Release date: 28 February 2025 (PS5 | Xbox Series X/S | PC)

Anyone who has played a PGA Tour game knows what to expect here, but obviously there have been some improvements. The long-running golf sim now has a new EvoSwing mechanic that can result in new shot types, ball flight paths, roll physics, and more. All the major tournaments you expect are in there too, along with a revamped course designer and all-new equipment progression system that should keep fans busy for quite some time.
