June marks a big month for the game release calendar, as it sees the return of a veteran fighter, a long-in-development dungeon crawler, and some of the notable franchise releases. We’ve rounded up the most-anticipated games arriving in June 2023:

Street Fighter 6

Release date: 2 June 2023 (Xbox Series X/S | PS5 | PS4 | PC)

The old fighter is back and more energised than ever, as Street Fighter 6, running on Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine (seen in recent Resident Evil games) preps for launch this June. The game features three distinct game modes: World Tour, Fighting Ground and Battle Hub, along with a diverse roster of 18 fighters, including fan favourites like Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Kimberly and more.

Amnesia: The Bunker

Release date: 6 June 2023 (Xbox Series X/S | Xbox One | PS4 | PC)

Fans of the Amnesia series will know what they’re in for with any game in the franchise: creeping around dark environments, avoiding all supernatural creeps, and trying to find their way out of a bizarre situation. Amnesia: The Bunker provides all that and more, throwing players into a WWII setting where you awake in a mysterious war-torn bunker, where you’ll have to search for and use tools and weapons at your disposal, while keeping the lights on at all costs as you try to make it out alive.

Diablo 4

Release date: 6 June 2023 (Xbox Series X/S | PS5 | Xbox One | PS4 | PC)

Dungeon-crawling demon hunters have been waiting a long time for a new Diablo instalment, and it’s here this June. Blizzard’s beloved RPG will give players endless evil to slaughter, countless abilities to master, nightmarish dungeons, and legendary loot. You can also play the campaign solo or with friends, and explore an expansive endgame and shared world where players can meet in towns to trade, team up to battle world bosses, or descend into PVP zones to test their skills against other players.

Park Beyond

Release date: 16 June 2023 (Xbox Series X/S | PS5 | PC)

Fans of Rollercoaster Tycoon and similar management games will want to keep an eye on Park Beyond this June. The game gives you the freedom to create and manage the parks of your dreams, taking into account everything from finances to the visitor experience. Going even further, you can adapt the entire world to your imagination by using terraforming tools to raise mighty mountains for your coasters to summit or whip up custom ride scenery using the modular building system that can be grouped, saved, and duplicated for quick and easy creativity.

Aliens: Dark Descent
