One of the Best & Overlooked Assassin’s Creed Games is Coming to PS4, Xbox One
It’s about damn time!
While the latest instalment in the much-loved AC franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, is a brilliant entry into the series (seriously, it’s really good), one of the most underrated games of the bunch, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, looks to be coming to current-gen consoles shortly.
Originally released in 2014 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC only, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue offered a unique spin on the whole AC story, putting players in the boots of a Templar on the hunt for assassins. It was a surprisingly polished and enjoyable AC adventure, but was sadly overlooked due to people’s attentions being on Assassin’s Creed: Unity at the time.
Now, a number of Italian retailers have listed an HD version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue for the Xbox One and PS4 for a March 2018 release.
This wouldn’t be the most unusual thing for Ubisoft to do, as the Assassin’s Creed franchise has seen re-releases with The Ezio Trilogy bringing AC 2, Revelations and Brotherhood to the current-gen consoles with good effect.
