Assassin’s Creed: Shadows — Watch 13 Minutes of Sneaky & Brutal Gameplay Here
Check out some brand-new gameplay from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Shadows.
At the Ubisoft Forward event this week, the French publisher showed off some in-depth gameplay of its upcoming Japan-set Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, giving a closer-look at what’s in store for gamers in the new entry.
Formerly known as Assassin’s Creed: Red, the new game is set in feudel Japan and stars two new playable assassins — Naoe, a ninja assassin, and Yasuke, an African samurai.
Players will be able to play as either Naoe and Yasuke as they see fit, but the two protagonists play very differently – Naoe is a shinobi who uses stealth, parkour, and gadgets, whereas Yasuke is combat-oriented and armoured – the pair’s personalities ultimately complement each other to form a unique dynamic throughout Shadows. Of course, smoke bombs, a vast variety of weapons, parrying, and the beloved hidden blade will all be present during combat.
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will launch on 15 November 2024 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
