Dead Rising 4 Screenshots Leaked

Following the leak of some Dead Rising 4 promotional material last week, we knew a sequel or follow-up of some sort was set to be announced at E3 2016. Well, it still hasn’t been announced just yet, but that hasn’t stopped more material from the upcoming zombie smash-’em-up to appear online.

The screenshots, below, popped up on NeoGAF, showing some of the new weapons, locales, and abilities the game will offer.

Word on the street is that the new Dead Rising is a remake of Dead Rising 1, starring protagonist Frank West and set during Christmas, with four-player co-op and an expanded map. There also appears to be a sign for Willamette in one of the below screenshots, confirming rumours it’s going back to the mall of the original game.

There are also two gifs, one showing an axe electricity attack that destroys a huge number of zombies, another showing Frank in a robotic suit that lets him rip apart zombies.

Dead Rising 4 is expected to be announced for PC and Xbox One during Microsoft’s E3 media briefing.
