Far Cry 4 rumours emerge
Far Cry series reportedly heading up north
It’s no doubt that Far Cry 4 is in development, and now some details about the yet-to-be-announced game are starting to emerge.
According to Eurogamer, Ubisoft intends to reveal the game at E3 in June and release it during the financial year ending March 2015.
Superannuation also claimed to have some inside information, saying that Far Cry 4 will be set in the Himalayas and that the Asian mountain range will play home to some form of monsters.
To back this up, Eurogamer’s report says that elephants will feature in the game, and the player will be able to mount and ride the floppy-eared giants.
Far Cry 4’s gameplay will be familiar to Far Cry 3 players, they added, with a similarly structured map and outposts for players to liberate.
The game is reportedly in development for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, with no mention of Xbox 360 and PS3 as of yet.
