Far Cry 6 Revealed, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla & Watch Dogs: Legion Release Dates Announced
Ubisoft unveils the next instalment of Far Cry, unleashes some new AC: Valhalla gameplay, and a whole lot more during the Ubisoft Forward event.
Ubisoft’s Forward online event revealed a ton of new information and details about upcoming Ubisoft games, including a reveal of Far Cry 6, as well as a deep-dive into Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla‘s gameplay.
Here’s everything you may have missed:
Far Cry 6
Despite a few leaks earlier in the week, Ubisoft officially unveiled the next entry into their big open-world action franchise, with Far Cry 6 set for a 18 February 2021 release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, as well as Xbox Series X and PS5.
Set on the tropical but tyrannical island of Yaran, players will be able to play as either male or female Dani Rojas, a local Yaran swept up in the revolution attempt against Anton Castillo, played by renowned actor Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad). As Dani, players will become a guerrilla fighter and explore and unite an entire island nation, from lush jungles to Yara’s capital city Esperanza. To succeed against the overwhelming power of Anton’s regime, players will need to be resourceful as they employ an arsenal of unique new weapons, vehicles and Fangs For Hire like Chorizo, the cutest wiener dog on wheels.

Watch Dogs: Legion
The next entry into the hack-’em-up Watch Dogs franchise, Watch Dogs: Legion, will release on 29 October 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with next-gen editions available when the consoles hit stores. Set in London, Watch Dogs: Legion evolves the series, allowing players to tae control of anyone in the city to join their cause in overthrowing a private security company who has locked-down the English city.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla
Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will release on 17 November 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with next-gen versions becoming available as those consoles launch. Furthermore, the devs gave a deep-dive look into latest entry, showcasing the battles, combat, and traversal.

Hyper Scape
Ubisoft’s free-to-play, fast-paced, urban battle-royale shooter, Hyper Scape, is getting an open beta for all PC players, and is available immediately. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Hyper Scape takes place in the distant future of 2054, where up to 100 Contenders descend upon the virtual city of Neo-Arcadia to engage in action-packed and fast-paced matches to be crowned champion.
