3 Awesome Games Releasing in SA this Week
We take a look at the video games you can play in SA this week!

While February should be the month of love, the gaming world is getting February underway with a brutal slashing samurai, a badass assassin, and an apocalyptic romp of violence. Here are our picks for the games releasing 6-12 February 2017:
Nioh
Release date: 9 February 2017 (PS4)
Team Ninja’s ghostly game about a cursed samurai (who looks an awful lot like a certain Witcher you might know) is very much a Dark Souls clone, but it’s got a lot going for it that has us excited. The emphasis of Nioh is on fighting styles and combat strategy, allowing you to alter your stance when attacking enemies, with each stance having pros and cons to it. However, the lead character William is also an elusive fellow and players will need to use his speed and dodging ability to outwit bigger foes. It looks to be an interesting title that will punish you for daydreaming but reward you for perseverance. We’re in!
John Wick Chronicles
Release date: 9 February 2017 (PC)
If you own a VR headset (and feel like shooting some virtual henchmen), you’ll be glad to know that John Wick Chronicles is releasing on Steam VR this week. The game is an immersive first-person shooter built from the ground up for virtual reality. It throws you into the assassin-packed world of John Wick, and lets you take on the role of Keanu Reeves’ undeniably badass killer. Players have the chance to explore the iconic Continental Hotel and are tasked with assassinating seemingly impossible targets that only John Wick himself could handle.
How to Survive 2
Release date: 6 February 2017 (PC)
How to Survive 2 is the sequel to the smash hit, How to Survive. Set 15 years after the first game, players find themselves trying to survive a massive Zombie infestation in Louisiana where they must team up in order to live. Players will have to scavenge for resources, craft tools and weapons, build base camps, and interact with the many colourful characters that populate the area. Fans will discover that series favorite, Kovac, the masked stranger & author of the ever present survival guide will also be onhand to help players outlive the zombie plague. Stay safe, survivors!
