Games Releasing this Week — Zombies, Murders, & Magic
Here’s the games hitting store shelves and online outlets this week!

This week, May comes to a halting conclusion while June’s release calender kicks in, and there is a great mix of experiences and adventures on offer to fans of the action genre.
Dead Island Definitive Collection
Release date: 31 May 2016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Dead Island Definitive Collection includes “fully remastered” and “greatly improved” versions of Dead Island, Dead Island: Riptide, DLC from both games, and a bonus game, Dead Island: Retro Revenge. The zombie-slaying games feature higher quality textures, a “photorealistic” lighting system, physically based shading, image quality enhancements by way of anti-aliasing, improved game models and geometry assets, HBAO and other motion blur effects, and updated game UI. Additionally, the PS4 version makes uses of Remote Play and shareplay, as well as streaming and recording. All versions also have four-player online co-op.
Hitman: Episode 3
Release date: 31 May 2016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Following the highly-enjoyable Paris and Sapienza missions with Episode 1 and 2 respectively, Hitman gets its third downloadable mission this week, set in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.
There will be two featured targets. The initial target will be a private banker named Claus Strandberg while the second one will be General Reza Zaydan. Located within the Swedish Consulate, Strandberg will be highly secure. Meanwhile, Zaydan will be accompanied by an elite group of soldiers while attempting to coup up at a provisional headquarters at the centre of the city. These new targets will accelerate the level of challenges to gamers. Additionally, Episode 3 adds up a wider range of opportunities and challenges. There will also be a new setting for Contracts Mode where players will be able to access Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets that will take place in the Moroccan city,
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine expansion
Release date: 31 May 2016 (Xbox One, PS4, PC)
Blood and Wine is the second add-on adventure for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The 30-hour-plus tale introduces the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, which will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret. The expansion also features new characters, new dangerous monsters, new armors, new weapons, and a new Gwent deck of cards. It will also introduce a new gameplay mechanic armor dyeing in addition to so called Mutations.
