The weekend is here, and if you’re hunting for some great gaming and tech deals, we’ve rounded up the best going down from local online and physical retailers around SA!

Devil May Cry 5 | PS5 &Xbox Series X/S (BT Games) – R499

The stellar action sequel from 2019 is on special from BT Games this weekend. Furthermore, it’s the special edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S which was enhanced and includes a bunch of extra goodies. You can check out our review of Devil May Cry 5 here.

Rage 2 | Xbox One (BT Games) – R99

It may not have been the roundbreaking shooter we hoped for, but Rage 2 is still a pretty fun game, and for less than a R100, it’s basically a steal. As we said in our Rage 2 review when it launched, “Rage 2 knows what it is and delivers on its bombastic and outrageous premise, and looks damn good while doing so. If you’re a fan of 2016’s Doom reboot or Bulletstorm, check this one out.”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | Xbox One (Xbox Live Marketplace) – R499.50

The brilliant reboot of Call of Duty‘s Modern Warfare entry is on sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace as part of their Deals with Gold specials. The campaign alone is incredible, and the multiplayer will keep you hooked for ages, so it’s a great option at its price. You can check out our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare review here.

Mafia Trilogy | PS4 & Xbox One (Loot) – R499.90

We’ve been long advocates of promoting the sorely underrated Mafia franchise, and with the Mafia Trilogy on special from Loot, you’ve got to dive in! While Mafia II: Definitive Edition isn’t the best remaster around, the completely built-from-the-ground-up remake of Mafia 1, along with the brutally awesome Mafia 3 included, this is well worth the entry price.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time | Xbox One (Loot) – R599.90

The long-awaited return of everyone’s favourite bandicoot was a great one, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is on special from Loot this weekend, pricing the Xbox One version at R599.90. If you’ve been holding off this one for a while, now it’s your time to indulge in Crash’s latest time-jumping adventure. If you need a little more motivation, check out our Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time review.
