Lara Croft Fights Zombies in New ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ Mode
Ms. Croft tackles the undead in the next chapter of her story.
Lara Croft has fought many things, including tigers, bears, and even a t-rex. She even took on some zombie-like creatures called Thralls in Tomb Raider: Underworld, but she’s never fought zombie-zombies in their purest form.
Well, that’s about to change, as a new DLC chapter for Rise of the Tomb Raider called Blood Ties adds two new segments to the game: a level based in Croft manor, and Lara’s Nightmare, which, as you can guess, pits the beloved treasure-hunter up against the undead in a horde-type survival romp.
Both of these extra goodies will be included with Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration edition, which launches on October 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The 20 Year Celebration edition also comes with all previously released DLC, the co-op endurance mode, PlayStation VR support on PS4, and more outfits and costumes.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was originally released back in 2015 to some pretty great reviews, so the 20 year edition is well worth picking up if it passed you by first time around.
