Massive Gaming Specials This Weekend

The weekend is here and with it comes the opportunity to dig into some gaming goodness and spend some time on that trusty console or PC.

Local retailers have launched some gaming specials to celebrate the month end (yeah, January is already saying ‘cheers’), and there are some real killer deals with mentioning.

Firstly, Kalahari has announced that its hosting its Month End Madness sale, which includes up to 60% off on selected games – and they’ve got quite the selection.

Some good deals include Dead Island: Riptide on PC for R239, Resident Evil 6 on PS3 for R239, the underrated Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on PC for R59, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 on PC for R119 (a game which we featured in our Overlooked Games of 2014 list).

There’s also some other titles, like Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City on PS3 for R199, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified on PC for R319, NBA2K14 on Xbox One for R479, Batman: Arkham Origins on Wii U for R299, and the brilliant Walking Dead Season 2 on PS4 for R409.

Then, physical retail outlet BT Games has also announced some specials for the weekend, including the Deal of the Week, which prices PES 2015 at R399.90 on Xbox 360 and PS3, and R599.90 on Xbox One and PS4.

Also the PS4 racing title DriveClub has been discounted to R599.90.
