Gamescom 2016: New Gears 4, PES 2017, Resident Evil 7 & More Gameplay Videos

Here’s some brand new footage from some of the biggest upcoming games.

Over in the land of delicious beer and giant sausages, a giant video game expo is currently taking place, and you know what that means? New gameplay videos!

Ahhh, Gamescom – Germany’s E3 (of sorts) is here and already delivering the big game announcements, news, and trailers, and we’ve already got some brand-spanking new footage from the likes of Gears of War 4, Resident Evil 7, PES 2017, and a whole lot more. Check out some of the videos below:

Gears of War 4

The new Gears 4 video, below, runs through the Rescue chapter of the game. JD, Kait and Del are chasing an unknown enemy through an old COG fort and come up against two new Swarm enemies: Drones and Pouncers.

PES 2017

Konami is showing off its new licensed partners for PES 2017 in a truly impressive trailer. Check out some new PES 2017 gameplay featuring FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, and Borussia Dortmund.

Resident Evil 7

We don’t know an awful lot about Resident Evil 7, but we do know it’s attempting to go back to its horror-roots and deliver a much slower-paced, more immersive experience rather than the all-out action of RE6. However, the latest gameplay trailer (as beautiful as it is) has left us with more questions than answers.

Yooka-Laylee

The spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, Yooka-Laylee‘s newest trailer showcases many of the mechanisms and features of the game that made the Rare title so popular when it was first released. Its mashup of Banjo Kazooie-inspired gameplay and the rich, colorful jungle atmosphere is also shown off pretty well in the trailer.

ReCore

ReCore, from the team behind Metroid Prime, is one of the most interesting looking titles coming to the Xbox One this year. The new trailer does a pretty good job of showcasing the exploration and combat as well as ReCore‘s winningly bright visual style.

Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1‘s new gameplay trailer gives us a look at the thrilling horse charges new to the game, battle tanks and armoured trains that will also feature. It’s pretty epic and if the final product can deliver the action like this, we’re fully on board.

Steep

Ubisoft is currently showcasing its new extreme winter sports game, Steep, and a brand new trailer has been released showing some new gameplay and modes available in the upcoming release.

Metal Gear Survive

Konami also (rather surprisingly) announced a four-player stealth co-op game set within the Metal Gear universe, due for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in 2017. Check out the first trailer below:

Watch Dogs 2

Watch the first look into the various scenarios of Watch Dogs 2′s online gameplay experience. With no lobbies to wait in, co-op and PvP multiplayer activities are seamlessly woven into the overall single-player experience.
