New Rugby Game in the Works from Rugby League Live Developer
A new rugby game is on the horizon.

Big Ant Studios has confirmed that they’re working on a rugby union video game, which will likely be coming to consoles and PCs.
Confirmed via a tweet, the Australian developer clarified that the studio has a “huge rugby union video game in development.”

Big Ant Studios is best known for their work on the Rugby League Live series, which has evolved dramatically over the years, and with the most recent release, Rugby League Live 4, the game delivers a very dynamic and nuanced rugby league experience that has built a huge fan-base.
Big Ant Studios was also recently purchased by French distributor Nacon, who also bought Eko Software who developed Rugby 22, which proved to be a huge improvement for that particular franchise.
The speculation is that Big Ant Studios’ rugby game will in fact be a tie-in for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, putting a possible release date at Q2 2023.
